Catering by Chef JohnExecutive Chef John Oakland has more than 30 years of food experience in southeastern Wisconsin, specializing in catering the last 20 years.

His broad range of experience is demonstrated in his many projects as a professional chef. He's taught a college catering class, authored a newspaper food column, and served as a consultant for Marriott Corp.

Chef John has judged cooking competitions and has been named winner of several regional and national cooking and recipe contests, including the National Grand Prize Winner of an American Lamb Council contest.

His true joy, however, is catering, which led him to start his own premium catering business with a blue collar attitude. It's a great way for Chef John to share his talents with many satisfied clients over the years.

It's also developed great friendships along the way.


While there are many important details to every event, our number one priority is always the food.

Chef John works closely with our food distributors to ensure the freshest, highest quality foods, and is constantly visiting markets and specialty stores in quest of the best ingredients.


We work hard to ensure the highest level of quality in each and every event we cater.

Whether it be a wedding for 300 guests, corporate dinners or box lunches for 20 -- excellence and the complete satisfaction of our clients is the standard we demand from ourselves.

Our focus is always on the three essential aspects in providing a premium quality event: the food, the service and the presentation, all while not forgetting the little things that make your event special.


Whether it be a full-service sit-down meal or a buffet, Chef John and his staff believe that the client deserves not only the best food, but also a well thought out and professional presentation.

We feel it is important that the first impression of walking into a room and seeing a beautiful food layout, or having a well designed plate presentation, lends itself to a first rate experience.


Our pride of service extends not only to the quality of our food, but also to our flexibility and experience with events of all types and sizes.

These include weddings and showers, corporate events from parties to executive meetings, charitable events, political fundraisers, special events such as golf outings, high school proms and reunions, balls and galas, and theme events of all kinds -- indoors or out.

We've even catered a movie premiere. We've done it all, but we savor the challenge in looking for something new.
